8/6-8/11 Race weekend!

8/11 - 90 min easy/mod on spin bike AM / 2500 easy in pool at noon (96degrees!)
8/10 - 60 min easy on spin bike in AM / 1250 in pool at noon - Messy swim, blew off 1/2
8/9 - DAY OFF for race day recovery
8/8 - Bandits Int'l distance tri / 1.5K,45K,10K - see race report on next post
8/7 - 1 mile Open Water Swim
8/6 - 45 min outdoor bike moderate (hot!)

8/1-8/5 still picking it up a notch!

8/1 - day off recovering from nasty Friday ride - yardwork!
8/2 - 2 hour long run, 15.1miles - felt way better than I thought I would but tired for a couple days
8/3 - 40min spin, 15 weights, 3500 aerobic in pool
8/4 - 1:15 turbo followed by 40min easy t-run
8/5 - 2250 AT in pool with 1000 as 150 easy, 50 hard / moderate 45min bike@19mph avg in afternoon

7/27-7/31

7/27 - Monday - easy hour spin and weights (total 1.25hrs)
7/28 - Tues - 3500 prescribed aerobic swim (total 1 hr)
7/29 - Weds - hard turbo and easy t-run (total 2.25hrs)
7/30 - Thurs - hard 5.6mi pm run in 90deg+, 39:30 finish (total .75 hrs)
7/31 - Fri - 1.5mi open water swim and 60 mile hard bike (due to tiredness and wind) on road bike (total 4.25 hrs)

7/26

Today's run was actually 11.5 miles. Took about 1:40 or slightly more. Solid.

7/22-7/25

Thursday, 7/22 - Swim 1750AM, run 7 mi/1 hour PM in 96deg. Good double in Tampa.
Friday, 7/23 - Swim 1.5 miles in Falls Lake
Saturday, 7/24 - Bike 66mi, 19.5mph avg, 85deg. Outstanding solo ride.
Sunday, 7/25 - easy 10mi/1.5 hr run with a few tempos sprinkled in.

Pretty solid 4 days. Feeling some fitness return finally! Bike was especially rewarding!

July 18-21

7/18, Saturday - OFF for travel to Mountains
7/19, Sunday - 4 or 5 mile run at 3000' on hilly golf course
7/20, Monday - 1750 swim and 10 mile easy run with a couple tempos in HFD, CT
7/21, Tuesday - OFF for travel home from CT

Slowly getting back in the training groove. Feeling good but still a bit concerned I am behind where I should be in training. Next few weeks big runs and bikes will be a better measure.

July 12-17

Still feeling like I'm behind where I should be. Falling short of prescribed workouts due to unexpected travel.

Sunday, July 12 - 5.6mi early AM run, easy (45min)
Monday, July 13 - 1 hour easy spin and 30min weights
Tuesday, July 14 - 8mi run in Houston TX, easy
Wednesday, July 15 - mid day aerobic swim as prescribed
Thursday, July 16 - OFF for travel to TN
Friday, July 17 - 1.5 mile lake swim, decent speed with a hard finish. 1.75 hour bike later in afternoon in 92 degrees and high humidity. 18.6mph avg. Overall felt good but fell way short of my goal on bike
